The Lancashire Telegraph has launched a new edition of the paper aimed specifically at its Asian community. The Asian edition, with an initial print circulation of 2,000, will be published weekly and available for purchase at selected outlets. It has been launched in conjunction with Asian Image, a free monthly newspaper published by Newsquest, and it will feature exclusive content from Asian Image writers. The Lancashire Telegraph has launched a new look with the aim of becoming brighter, more modern and easier on the eye. The new-look includes colour-coded sections to help readers find their way around and a new daily digest column, which provides an at-a-glance set of soundbites. The opinion page has been redesigned to fit in more views from its print and online readers and certain sections have been moved around. All features and sports sections remain the same.
