    The New Republic

Established in 1914 and geared toward individuals involved in the legislative process at federal, state, local and grass root levels. Designed to cover public affairs from an insider's vantage point. Provides readers with a rigorous examination of American politics, foreign policy and culture. Includes news and editorials on domestic and international issues. Features current events, politics, education, books, theater, film, music, art and culture. If you are pitching an idea for an essay, reportage, or other nonfiction, briefly explain your angle, why it’s timely, and why you’re equipped to write it; generously hyperlink any references and citations in your pitch, so the editor can easily vet it. If you are sending a completed submission, briefly summarize it in your email and either embed or attach your full article. In all cases, include a brief biography and links to examples of your work. The staff will not respond to a pitch that is sent to multiple editors, so it is encouraged to determine where your piece best fits—within the online verticals or within the pages of the magazine—and limit your email to one editor. This outlet offers RSS (Really Simple Syndication).

The Daily Telegraph - The Telegraph Magazine

Background and Format: The Telegraph Magazine, published every Saturday, is a mix of glamour, lifestyle, fashion and hard-hitting articles.  In March 2017 the magazine was relaunched with features, including: Life and times, Wildlife, The Midult's guide to..., and Charmed Life. Regular features - fashion, beauty, interiors, food, restaurant reviews and Flashback - now fall under The Cut section of the magazine. PRs should send their releases to the relevant department around a month before they would like it featured. Twice a year, The Telegraph Magazine publishes a 64 page fashion supplement, called Telegraph Fashion, to coincide with the new season's looks. Issues go to press on Wednesday, so Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are particularly busy and the team would prefer not to be contacted. They are very interested in PRs who are able to provide pictures. They also welcome pitches late on Wednesday ahead of an ideas meeting on Thursday.
