Free e-mailed media alerts encourage subscribers to write to journalists and editors to challenge their arguments.The blog is run by Freelance Journalists David Cromwell and David Edwards. The team has written two books, Guardians of Power and Newspeak in the 21st Century.Blog posts tend to be text of their media alerts, which are emailed out to subscribers, providing an alternate take on a current event or article. The team also posts responses and counter-arguments to criticism of their work. Other sections on the blog include Cogitations, Interact and Bookshop.
