Background and format: Medical Plastics News is a bi-monthly magazine that aims to be the source of technology breakthroughs and industry intelligence for manufacturers of plastic medical devices and components. With a dedicated mission focus on "All Medical, All Plastics", the editorial coverage has been structured so that all aspects of the supply chain are covered in every issue. This includes independently researched articles on design and prototyping, materials, cleanroom machinery, end of line technology, contract manufacturing as well as the finished products themselves. There are also regular updates on regulation issues, trade shows and conferences, country profiles, industry news and comment style pieces from leading lights in the industry. Examples of topics include: Packaging, blood bags, tubing, connectors, implantables, syringes, Finance, lubricious coatings, rapid prototyping and laser sintering, Micro moulding and assembly. Audience and readership: The magazine is targeted at a global audience within the medical plastics industry.
