Written for members of the MECA and cooperatives dedicated to providing reliable and affordable energy to communities in Michigan. Covers home and family, gardening and outdoors, food, people and energy topics of interest to both rural and suburban readers. Concentrates on rural lifestyles, home energy use, family health and welfare, cooking, business, legislative news and original stories.
Michigan Country Lines is published 10 times per year and mailed to all Great Lakes Energy Cooperative members. The magazine contains information regarding Great Lakes Energy news, products, services and human interest stories about fellow cooperative members. Also included are legal notices that pertain to board elections, regulatory issues and other matters. It is devoted to home and family, gardening and outdoors, energy and energy efficiency, food and people of interest to rural and suburban readers who are members of Michigan's electric cooperatives.
Publication is only about 16 pages with minimal advertising space. Rarely has use for press releases.
