In addition, the paper gets much of its content and reporting from its many bureaus. The foreign desk oversees correspondents and stringers around the world. Daily deadlines are usually between 5pm and 6pm ET. The paper does not accept artwork. The lead time for news coverage is one day to one week, the lead time for special section features is three weeks.. The lead time for advertising is 30 days.

There are more than 2,300 reporters and editors in 135 bureaus around the world. The news service publishes more than 5,000 stories on an average day syndicating globally to over 400 newspapers across 70 countries, with a combined circulation of 73 million people. The news service also has a network of more than 400 photographers based globally and also maintains a photo archive including more than 260,000 images. PR pitches and press releases sent to release@bloomberg.net go to their assignment and speed desks to be forwarded to relevant reporters for scheduled and breaking news.There are no specific deadlines as news is produced 24 hours a day. Reporters are required to verify the authenticity of a press release before using it.
