About
Bio
Network World is designed to empower network information systems professionals with the knowledge to deliver the open applications and infrastructure required to meet evolving business needs. Includes breaking news, online conferences, client/server applications and extensive research and testing of new product technologies.
Provides Internet resources, the latest financial and stock information, tips and case studies for running intranets and answers about networking issues. Also includes top stories covering networking news, company news, emerging technology and products, as well as telecom expense management (TEM). Additionally, the site contains three different Subnet Communities: Cisco Subnet, Microsoft Subnet and Open Source Subnet.
Network World DOES accept bylined articles/submissions. They must be original vendor-contributed articles to explore emerging enterprise technologies. The focus is on education so the articles range in scope from explaining how something works to comparing competing technologies, but most tend to address “How to solve X with Y.” Submissions must be vendor-neutral and submissions should be no more than 1,200 words. Send all pitches to the Editor-in-Chief. Responses may take a few weeks due to volume of submissions.
