Launched in September 2008, Super Cute Kawaii is a daily blog of handmade cuteness and Japanese kawaii. Discovering there was no-one covering their favourite cute handmade things as well as the crazy and cute Japanese kawaii they love, Marceline and Claire decided to start one themselves. 'We opened doors in September 2008 and we’ve been posting our favourite cute things 5-6 days a week ever since.. We also opened an online shop for a time, selling our favourite kawaii stationery and toys, plus handmade cuteness from our favourite independent designers. The shop closed in March 2011 as we wanted to free up more time for the blog.' Claire has now stepped down.
The blog posts are written by Marceline Smith as well as other contributors. Marceline lives in Glasgow. She has visited Japan twice and is enormously inspired by all things Japanese, from traditional chiyogami patterns and woodblock prints to Nintendo games and the latest San-X insanity. She especially loves bunnies and any kind of food object with a happy face. Marceline explains that she can be bribed easily with cake.

Good Housekeeping
Good Housekeeping is published by Hearst and written for the contemporary homemaker. Articles focus on food, nutrition, fashion, beauty, relationships, home decorating, health, child care, and other consumer and social issues. Each issue delivers a unique mix of inspirational and personal stories, trusted information, and closely researched investigations and reports. Also there are tips for getting organized, and recipes for quick, healthy meals. While they don't designate a part of the magazine for green coverage they do take environmental considerations into account throughout each issue, so pitch accordingly. When sending green products be sure that they save readers time and money. Pitch recycling topics and remember that value and quality are most important to readers. Avoid sending too many luxury items as they rarely, if ever, cover luxury goods or services. When pitching products always be mindful of the staffs' deadlines. They typically work three to four months in advance. Be sure to include price, availability and other pertinent shopping details.
