The News-Press is a daily broadsheet newspaper located in Fort Myers, Florida serving primarily Lee County, as well as parts of Charlotte and Collier Counties. It was founded in 1884 by Stafford Cleveland. The newspaper joined the Gannett family in 1971. It publishes three different daily morning editions that are tailored to their respective distribution locations. These are Cape Coral, the area's largest city; Bonita Springs and South Lee County; and Fort Myers and surrounding Lee County.
