U, Me and The Kids is a lifestyle and parenting-focused blog which was created in October 2012. Rachel Hirst is the Creator of the blog. She is a mother of two. She also works as Community Manager for the Yorkshire area of Made for Mums Blogging website. She writes about her opinions/reviews on a wide range of products, events and venues. She also strives to provide lots of links to various websites and locations that she feels are relevant for readers and their family and friends. The usual audience is predominantly female, as new mothers or mums of toddlers and young children, although there are fathers who will find the information useful, too. Categories on the blog include: Baby/Children, My Daily Blog, Beauty Reviews, Gaming Events/Play Expo, Competitions, Reviews, Parent Category and Gifts/Gadgets. Posts are added several times a month and there are several images in a month. PR opportunities are varied such as possible prize submissions and guest contributions. Articles focus on food, nutrition, fashion, beauty, relationships, home decorating, health, child care, and other consumer and social issues.
