Launched in December 2011, Vox Political is an individual politcal blog. Mike explains that that 'he's interested in politics, with an emphasis on people rather than the movement of money – although he appreciates that knowledge of financial matters does help.'
The blog posts are written by Mike Sivier. He has been a newspaper reporter for the best part of 20 years now. He switched to freelance work in 2007 in order to become a carer for my girlfriend (who is disabled) . He's also a musician, and has been playing in bands since 2006. He's currently in a ska group called the Dodgie Jammers, and before that he was in Oneyeopen which was more good old-fashioned blues-based rock ‘n roll.
