It shows live Barclays Premier League games and Scottish Premier League games over the course of the football season. The channel, simply called ESPN, will also show matches from America, Germany, Portugal, Russia and the Netherlands, alongside US sports. ESPN has reached an initial deal to have the channel shown on Sky, but is in talks to extend the service across all UK pay-TV platforms. Rebecca Lowe will co-host the station’s football coverage and will join Ray Stubbs, Mark Chapman, Kelly Cates and Darrell Currie on the presenting team. Jon Champion and Derek Rae will provide match commentary. Contact details will be announced in due course.
