Launched in February 1989, BBC Hereford and Worcester is the local radio service for the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It broadcasts from its studios in both Worcester and Hereford on 94.7FM (Hertfordshire), 104-104.6FM (Herefordshire), 738 & 1584AM, DAB Digital Radio and Online. It serves the rural communities across Herefordshire as well as the more populous Worcestershire with a range of programmes from jazz, folk, country, funk and new music to daily local news, everyday discussion and outside broadcasts. The BBC are unable to advertise on their UK outlets.

Background and Format: Launched in January 2014, History Revealed is a historical interest magazine. Each issue has three key areas: a single historical story telling readers everything they need to know about the subject; the lives of history’s "big names", looking at their lives and legacy accompanied by facts and trivia; and history's "big battles" which examine how wars were really fought. Audience and Readership: The magazine is aimed at ABC1s interested in history, aged 15-50 (Source: Publisher).
