Background and Format: The Daily Mail was founded in 1896 and is owned by Associated Newspapers. It was nominated National Newspaper of the Year in March 2003. It features a combination of comprehensive and incisive news coverage, detailed analysis of world-wide issues and daily features covering topics about today's lifestyle. The Investigations Desk of the Daily Mail produces long-form features on a variety of subjects, generally involving questionable financial practices. Investigations have included tax avoidance by senior NHS staff, issues with pension sales and investigations of charity fundraising. Audience and Readership: Target audience is between 25-60 and from high-middle class. Deadline: Around 7pm (no strict time), but if it is a very important story or breaking news, it will be published in a later edition. Ad rates: Information on advertising can be found here. WCAU-TV is the NBC affiliate for the Philadelphia area and broadcasts locally on channel 10. Local newscasts air weekdays and weekends in the morning and evening. WCAU-TV debuted as WPEN-TV in 1946 and assumed its current call letters in 1948. It served as the market's CBS affiliate until 1995 when it became owned and operated by NBC. Notable former on-air staff include sports broadcaster Mike Golic, former CNN anchor Don Lemon, the late announcer Ed McMahon, and former NBC anchor Brian Williams.

KNBC-TV is the NBC affiliate for the Los Angeles market and broadcasts locally on channel 4. The station features a number of locally produced programs and newscasts. KNBC-TV made its debut as KNBH-TV (standing for "NBC Hollywood") in 1949, and changed its call letters to KRCA-TV (for NBC's then-parent company, the Radio Corporation of America) in 1954. The station's callsign officially changed to its current designation in 1986, though it had been informally known as KNBC since 1962. Notable alumni include former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw, former Today show host Bryant Gumbel, former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, and Dateline NBC correspondent Keith Morrison.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is written for the residents of Milwaukee and surrounding areas. It covers local, state, national and international news, as well as business, entertainment, sports and lifestyle. The paper is the product of a 1995 merger between the Milwaukee Journal, founded in 1882, and the Milwaukee Sentinel, founded in 1837. The paper uses wire services, including the Associated Press, Reuters, Bloomberg News and Dow Jones News Service for much of its national and international news. In August 2009, the paper joined a national sports content-sharing alliance with several other papers across the country.

KSTP-TV is the ABC affiliate for the Minneapolis-St. Paul market and broadcasts locally on channel 5. Newscasts cover news, weather, and sports for the Twin Cities with an emphasis on local news and human-interest stories. KSTP-TV first broadcast in 1948, and was the first commercial television station in Minnesota. The station was originally an NBC affiliate until 1979 when it switched to ABC. KSTP is sister to Minneapolis-licensed independent station KSTC-TV, and operates satellite stations KSAX-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota and KRWF-TV in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
